This combined format of a lecture and a seminar offers the possibility to discuss actual topics in the field of functional fungal genomics and to present own literature work or research results.
- Previous knowledge expected
-
Solid knowledge of formal and molecular genetics and basic education in functional genomics
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
-
Students gain detailed insights into the theoretical background of molecular genetic analyses. They deepen their understanding of functional genomics of fungi and present in the seminar part their own literature or research data in comparative and functional genomics. They know the scientific literature of the field and are acquainted with the ecological, bio- and agricultural importwenance of this group of organisms.
