Physical and structural basics for agricultural drainage. Causality between reasons for water logging and hydro-ameliorative measures; Determination of the required hydraulic parameters as well as design parameters for rural water structures, calculation of drain spacings, design and dimensioning of the measures and structural works. Opportunities for controllable regulations of the ground water regime. Identification and maintenance of cases of damage of existing facilities.
Presentation of case studies and relevant software.
