Content

Within the scope of the course, the principal keys of managing a building site will be treated:
-Honoraries (Honorary / additional costs / work and services contracts / accounting)
-Tendering (general, technical and legal preliminary notes and appendix)
-Specifications
-Work contract and subcontracting
-Cost estimation and prevision
-Building process (building site management, building supervision, meetings and protocols, building coordination, specialists, inspection engineer)
-Dealing with irregularities (defects notification, defects remediation, building costs overdraft, reserves, insolvencies, requests from the client)
-Partial and final invoice

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

After finishing their studies, students will be confronted to varied tasks that they should be able to manage: writing tenders, organising building sites, leading and following up construction work and rendering account. This course is specially addressed to those who want to stress their knowledge on building supervision and management as well as tendering in Landscape planning offices, architects offices, federal and state institutions and building companies.
