1) Subject introduction course
a) Introduction of relevant rural sociology research topics, theories and scientific journals.
b) Guidelines for publishing scientific papers.
4 Appointments (Obligation of attendance: minimum 3 of 4 appointments)
2) Seminar work
In groups students prepare a paper to the topic "society in rural areas".
Every student reviews a paper of a colleague.
Respecting the review remarks student groups prepare the final paper and present it in class.

Students shall become familiar with relevant research topics in rural sociology. They shall learn about important scientific journals and publication practice in rural sociology. Students will prepare and present a scientific paper.
