Practical fundamentals of surveying; familiarization with and use of surveying instruments (total station, leveling instrument, GNSS); implementation of basic surveying methods, e.g., traversing, leveling, stakeout, etc.; calculation and creation of surveying products, including plans, coordinate lists, and technical reports
Physical principles of flow measurement, as specified in the Austrian standard for rivers and streams; classification of watercourses into functional habitats; familiarization with assessment methods and relevant morphological processes; field methods for determining soil physical parameters
