Introduction to forest site mapping - methods and concepts. Field exercises in site description and mapping: use of a survey key; deduction of site factors considering the interaction between relief, soil and vegetation (indicator values); measurement of biometric features Deduction of classification criteria for site types Application of the growth series concept ("false time series").
