Content

The course will be taught by guest professor Ernest Aigner (Leuphana University Lüneburg) in the summer term 2026.

Learning outcomes:
- Knowledge and understanding of plural economic theories and alternative economic models
- Ability to analyze alternative economic models from different theoretical perspectives
- Understanding of various current forms of coordination (market, planned,
public economy, and mixed forms) as well as their historical and current significance
- Classification of alternative economic models with regard to socio-ecological challenges and
their relationship to money, labor, and land
- Knowledge of practical examples and the ability to identify potential obstacles to implementation
