Sites include farms and research facilities in fruit, wine, vegetable and ornamental production, with a focus on innovative, sustainable and economically viable systems. Two-day excursion in May 2026, in all weather (07.05.2026: Tulln region; 21.05.2026: Vienna region), accessible by public transport. Note: sturdy shoes and head covering; greenhouses can be hot with strong solar radiation—bring sun protection and water.

Basic knowledge in at least one area (fruit, wine, vegetable or ornamental production) is expected; cross-sector knowledge is not required, but interest is advantageous.

Usually organized as bus-trip (therefore just a limited number of participants possible).
Programme changes from year to year. Take care of suitable clothing (weather and sun protection). Greenhouses can be very hot at this time of the year.
