Content: For this summer semester 2026, the Exkursion will include travelling to Styria (3 days).
The dates have been fixed from the 11th to 13th of June 2026, with departure and arrival in Vienna (Spittelau Station).
The full program will be communicated at the start at the semester via emails and BOKUlearn (including estimated cost per student and registration process).
Previous knowledge expected: Any BOKU students welcome.
Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences): - gain insights into wine-producing regions

- understand structural- and production-related differences in selected regions

- learn about the geographical and climatic conditions in selected regions

- assess the effects of political structures and marketing strategies on the wine industry

- increase knowledge of terroir- and productionstyle-specific wines and their characteristics
