Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of the course, the students are able to make simple preparations of plant material themselves and observe the structure and properties of living plant cells in the light microscope. By microscopic analysis of highly differentiated plant material the students are acquainted with the structure of the major plant tissues and the complex organization of the plant organs (stem, leaf, root). In addition, students have acquired practical experience in light microscopy. Students also learn how to make technical drawings of the analysed tissues.
