'Transformative Development explores different approaches to development and transformation, from multilateralism to degrowth. We will identify key actors and critically examine their writings and interventions to synthesize ideas and practices. This analysis will help us recognize patterns of interaction and gain a deeper understanding of current discourses on transformation. Together, we will engage in discussions about future options for addressing local and global development challenges.
The course Transformative Development serves as the entry point to the track 'Climate Crisis and Transformative Development' within the BOKU-Master Program 'Climate Change and Societal Transformation.' The contents of Transformative Development can be worked on in more detail in the master program.
