Building on Russian III or the corresponding basic knowledge, work is done on expanding and deepening vocabulary and grammar with the aim of being able to take part in practical conversations. The focus is on topics such as coping with everyday life (daily routine, supplies [shopping, eating & drinking, etc.], health/illness, sport, leisure activities), studies/working world, orientation (when travelling, at authorities, events, etc.) and regional and cultural studies. The grammar deals with verb forms such as future, possibility form, imperative forms, etc., the declination of nouns (plural forms, irregular forms, etc.), negation, numbers and phraseology.

Basic knowledge as acquired in the BOKU Russian III language course (90 units per 45 minutes each) or aquivalent knowledge.

Aim of the course:
to approach language skills at level A2 in accordance with the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
