Two excursions to historic parks have been planned:
1) A half-day trip to Schönbrunn Palace Park in Vienna, led by Dr Hartmut Troll, and
(2) A full-day excursion to the Lednice-Valtice landscape park and World Heritage Site near Brno, involving travel by train and bicycle.
A preliminary meeting will be held at BOKU in March 2026. Further details will follow in February 2026.

The course aims to:
- to analyse and understand the different eras of landscape architecture on site;
- develop an understanding of the cultural heritage of gardens and landscapes;
- to gain inspiration for further exploration of the history of landscape architecture; and
Finally, it aims to facilitate discussions about garden conservation issues on site.
