Students will understand the fundamentals of green chemistry and the importance of transforming the chemical industry. They will be familiar with the principles of green chemistry, the use of renewable raw materials, and the application of biocatalysis and electrocatalysis. After completing the course, students will be able to assess whether a particular chemical-synthetic process can be considered environmentally friendly, safe, and sustainable, or identify the parameters that need to be adjusted to achieve this goal. Students will be familiar with a holistic and critical way of thinking.
