Content

Students are introduced to economic experiments and their applications in agricultural economics and policy. Students interested in conducting their own experiment can discuss their designs or data in optional additional consultation sessions (upon agreement). The course combines lectures, group discussions, seminars, and small assignments.

Previous knowledge expected

Advanced Master and PhD students with a solid background in microeconomics, statistics, and econometrics. Other interested students are welcome.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students have a good overview of the diversity of economic experiments and can develop a research proposal in the field of experimental economics with a specific focus on agricultural and environmental policy.
