Content: This online challenge course invites BSc, MSc, and PhD students to co-design and pilot engaging MOOC (massive open online course) modules that make soil literacy relatable through creative teaching methods, interactive activities, and tech-driven solutions (gamification, multimedia, virtual collaboration, and AI).

Working in diverse teams from different universities across Europe online, you’ll develop stories, case studies, and outreach tools that highlight real-world soil services, threats, and actions - elevating youth perspectives and contributing directly to the CURIOSOIL MOOC “Cultivating Curiosity: The Wonders of Soils".
Previous knowledge expected: Suitable for beginners with no soil science knowledge.
Fluency in English is recommended, as materials and team communication will be in English.
Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences): *) co-design youth-oriented learning experiences on soil literacy
*) pilot and assess educational content using the CURIOSOIL MOOC
*) develop and justify creative outreach strategies for science communication
