Basic knowledge of biochemistry, with a particular focus on protein biochemistry.

This course provides an overview of state-of-the-art techniques for the comprehensive characterization of protein samples. A particular emphasis will be placed on biomolecular interactions, including their characterization and the different approaches available for studying affinity, binding kinetics, and related properties. The course combines theoretical concepts with hands-on training in selected methods, including mass spectrometry, surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy, and flow cytometry.
