The lecture covers the fundamentals of building systems and components in structural engineering, as well as the fundamentals of building physics.

Students are able to develop an architectural and structural concept for buildings, taking into account external constraints and usage requirements, and to present the result graphically by means of sketches. In addition, students are able to work out detailed solutions for structures and likewise present these graphically by means of sketches.
