Content

A total of six lecture sessions will cover key topics relating to the Austrian Federal Forests (ÖBf). The topic blocks will be presented by renowned figures from various areas of the organisation. The course offers the opportunity for personal contact and an exchange of ideas with the speakers. Details of the planned speakers and content can be found under ‘Additional Information’.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

This lecture series addresses current issues in forestry from the perspective of the Austrian Federal Forests. The selected topics require a highly interdisciplinary approach. Attendees are intended to gain an insight into the demands that the industry places on academia and the expectations that future employers have of BOKU graduates.
