This practical course complements the physics lecture.
It serves to:
- help students master the material covered in the lecture through example problems for each chapter. Calculations to solve the problems are demonstrated in class.
- demonstrate and explain physics experiments
- familiarize students with the physics exam environment. -- There are several short tests throughout the semester.

Students graduating from this course are able to solve the example problems given in the lecture notes of the physics for food and biotechnology course. They can explain the experiments shown in class on a basic level and solve related example problems.
