Upon completion of the course, students will be able to
- to situate nature conservation law within the Austrian legal system and distinguish it from other areas of environmental law,
- to outline the basic principles of both European and national nature conservation law,
- to explain the interaction between nature conservation law under EU law and national nature conservation law, and
- to list and outline the various instruments and areas of protection covered by nature conservation law.
