This course will be delivered for the first time in the winter semester 26/27 using the following teaching approach. The concept combines flipped classroom principles with research-based and problem-oriented learning to enable students, through engaging methods, formative assessments and real-world case studies (EU-KARL), to critically engage with wastewater management technologies – with the aim of developing practical skills for professional practice.
The general content will be based on the EU-KARL (Municipal Wastewater Directive) and the challenges it poses for the (Austrian) wastewater management sector.
