- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

- To apply environmental science theories to problems observed in the field
- To get insight into different types of environmental processes, interactions between main components such as soil, water and vegetation, anthropogenic impacts and their environmental effects, environmental management policies and strategies
- To experience the management of natural resources, especially water and soil
- To learn tools for collecting, processing and interpreting environmental data
- To draw on different expertises for problems solving in a group of students of different nationalities and with different backgrounds
- To use intensive e-learning as integrated tool for the two weeks preparation to the field course
