Content: Extending language skills with regard to the most relevant everyday situations/topics such as work/studying, food/meals and drinks, living, orientation at town, shopping etc. By using texts, language-games, group-work, simulations, dialogues etc., the introduc-tion of essential grammatical structures and basic vocabulary is being continued and participants are going to be enabled to use Russian actively and to take part in easy conversation in Russian. Communication and interaction as well as getting acquainted with cultural patterns are of prime importance.
Previous knowledge expected: Graduation of Russian I (30 units per 45 minutes each) or aquivalent knowledge.
Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences): Developing language skills of almost level A1 according to the guidelines of the Euro-pean Language Portfolio. In order to reach this level as a beginner approx. 100 units á 45 ‘ are required (Russian I = 60 units, Russian II = 30 units).
