BOKU with president Fischer in Iran

President Fischer visited Iran with minister Mitterlehner and Kurz and an economic/culture and science delegation of 250 people between 7-9 Sep. BOKU was represented by Ao.Univ.Prof DI Dr. Stefan Schmutz, Inst. Hydrobiology and Aquatic Ecosystem Management. A number of MoUs was signed. Currently, BOKU has a MoU  with Shahid Beheshti University. Unfortunately, immediate student and staff exchange with this Univ. and Malek Ashtar University und Sharif University will not be possible after sanction are ceased. However, all other co-operations are possible.

ÖAD signed an MoU enabling financial support for student and staff exchange in future. Minister Mitterlehner signed an MoU on co-operation within the area of environmental protection, a topic important for the BOKU.
