BOKU-Delegation

With Australia and New Zealand, BOKU has several long-lasting projects, supported by a considerable number of student and staff exchange. In order to intensify the university collaboration and to renew co-operation agreements, a BOKU-Delegation visited several universities in Oceania.

In Sdyney, the BOKU delegation (Prof. Barbara Hinterstoisser, Prof. Markus Fiebig, Prof. Dietmar Haltrich, Prof. Andreas Muhar, Prof. Martin Gerzabek and Dr Margarita Calderón-Peter) visited the University of Wollongong and the Macquarie University, with whom we renewed the bilateral agreement. This partner university offers 5 PhD scholarships for cotutelle-doctoral studies in the next 3 years!
In Brisbane, we visited the University of Queensland, the Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University, with whom we had intense discussion on future co-operation options. The bilateral agreement with Griffith University was prolonged.

In New Zealand, the long-lasting co-operation with Lincoln University was renewed and a Memorandum of Understanding with  the University of Canterbury initiated.

A detailed travel report will be published in the next BOKU Magazine.
