Luci is Post-Doc in the team of Johannes Grillari of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Biotechnology of Skin Aging at the Department of Biotechnology. They investigate the crosstalk between dermal and epidermal skin cells and identified specific and selectively secreted vesicular miRNAs from senescent fibroblast that modulate the functionality of other skin residents. With their work the scientists aim to detect new regulatory mechanism that affect the intrinsic and extrinsic changes of skin aging.
