Best Poster Award

Florian Part, Senior Scientist at the Department of Water - Atmosphere - Environment (WAU), has been awarded 2nd place for his poster "Method Development to Assess Cytoxicity of Hydrophilic Engineered Nanomaterials by Using Surface Modifiable Quantum Dots". Florian Part shares the award with his project collaborators Elisabetta De Vito-Francesco, Ass.-Prof. Seta Küpcü, Dr. Monika Debreczeny, Univ.-Prof. Eva-Kathrin Sinner and Ao.Univ.Prof. Maria Fürhacker (all BOKU). This interdisciplinary group enables to address challenging topics about potential long-term adverse effects of man-made (engineered) nanomaterials on our human health and the environment.
