The Institute of Landscape Development, Recreation and Conservation Planning of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna is organising an exchange of ideas on tourism and climate change in the context of the APCC project “Special Report Tourism (SR 19)”.

The event will take place on 16th November 2018 at the Kavalierhaus Klessheim near Salzburg city. With a mixture of short lectures, podium discussions and active participation of the audience, technical questions, "real" and "fake" news about climate change adaptation in ski areas related to winter tourism will be addressed.

This project is funded by the Climate and Energy Fund and is part of the 10th Call Austrian Climate Research Program (ACRP). The SR 19 is produced in cooperation with the CCCA.
