Anatol Schmidt

Ing. DI Anatol Schmidt from the Food Chemistry Laboratory of the Department of Food Science and Technology was nominated for the best poster award at the 31st International Symposium on Chromatography in Cork.

Of over 350 presented posters, only 15 were nominated to participate in the final flash presentation.

His poster themed: "A novel UHPLC method for the assessment of native vitamin B6 and B2 in bovine milk" shows the impact of heating on the composition and the content of components exhibiting B6 and B2 vitamin activity. Moreover it implies the application of chosen vitamers as heat load indicator for bovine milk.
