Entrepreneurship Workshop & Conference
A workshop, specifically targeted to PhD students and early career scientists, will be held at the BOKU StartUp Center in Muthgasse.
Alfons Felice, co-founder of the BOKU StartUp "DirectSens" and former lecturer of the course "The Garage - Start your own business", will introduce the basic concepts of entrepreneurship. Within a three hours session, the most important concepts and methods used for business models, marketing and financials will be discussed and set in context to the daily routine of scientists.
As a second part the group will have the opportunity to visit the conference "Entrepreneurship Avenue" held at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) on June 7th. Inspiring key notes speakers and specific break out workshops will allow a deep immersion in the Austrian StartUp ecosystem. (more details: https://entrepreneurshipavenue.com)
The workshop will be organised in an interactive format and does not rely on any background knowledge in the field.
