Africa-EU Stakeholder Engagement Week

The African Union and the EU intensify their longterm partnership. Join the BOKU team in the debate on policies, innovation pathways and collaborative action. 31 May to 4 June 2021.

Considering the often fragmented efforts and limited mobilisation of new and traditional knowledge in promoting food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture on both continents, the AU and EU seek to enhance coordination, integrate ongoing efforts and maximise synergies. BOKU is partnering in the H2020 project supporting the commissions in implementation, and the Stakeholder Engagement Week is an opportunity to join the debate and learn about funding opportunities in HorizonEurope, as well as ongoing initiatives.

Prof. Stefanie Lemke of BOKU’s Institute for Development Research will represent BOKU on the high level panel on May 31, 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.

BOKU is committed to research and innovation for food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture - as a partner in many research and capacity building activities, and its leading role in the newly established Austrian-African Research Network (Africa-UniNet).
