An open campus is to be created that is equipped with attractive open spaces, communicates with the surrounding urban neighborhoods and is accessible to the public. The area should invite the population to BOKU, among other things in the context of events and continuing education programs, and offer an attractive learning and working environment for students and employees. 

How would you develop BOKU at the PJ82 location? Your ideas are needed! The institutes LAP, IRUB, ILEN, Ive / Facility Management, (Phase I) / ILA, IBLB, ILEN (Phase II) organize together with the rectorate of BOKU an idea exchange, which takes place in two phases: 

Phase I, summer semester 2022: urban designs and long-term visions for a sustainable development of Türkenschanze and in particular PJ82, taking into account the structure of use, buildings, open space and mobility, ...

The designs will be supervised and evaluated by an interdisciplinary team of lecturers within the framework of the courses, and prizes will be awarded by the Rectorate on the basis of a BOKU-wide vote. The best designs will be presented in a poster exhibition and handed over to the planners of the projects as a collection of ideas in a joint meeting, presented and discussed. In this way, there is a chance that good ideas will actually be implemented.
