Martin Polaschek as guest at the BOKU booth at BeSt3

BeSt³ took place again in the Vienna Stadthalle from March 3rd to 6th, 2022. The Minister of Education and Science personally took a look - as did the 63,000 visitors to Austria's largest education and career information fair.

There was a lot going on at BOKU's booth: In addition to a delegation from the French Embassy, even Minister of Science Martin Polaschek stopped by this year to find out what BOKU has to offer and to order greetings for Rector Eva Schulev-Steindl. With the help of students from all bachelor's degree programs, BOKU4you advised more than 1,200 people on study options at BOKU. The Food and Biotechnology program and the environmental and conservation-oriented majors Environmental and Bioresource Management and Environmental Engineering were in particular demand.

Many interested students were not yet sure about their choice of study, but the decision to study at BOKU was often already made. Decisive for this decision were the good reputation of the university and reports of the good atmosphere at BOKU, according to the fair visitors.

There was a great deal of demand for information about the opportunities before and after studying at BOKU - for example, the right choice of school type for the Matura or the diverse and often excellent job prospects after graduation.
