Climate-friendly cities require efficient use of wood

A "Plea for the efficient use of wood in construction" was published in Nature Reviews Materials. The journal is considered the most important journal in interdisciplinary materials science.

In the article, the authors (Maximilian Pramreiter, Tobias Nenning, Lukas Malzl and Johannes Konnerth) from the Institute of Wood Technology and Renewable Resources describe four important measures to prevent severe raw material shortages of wood in construction.
