Taiwan’s Environment Minister visits BOKU

Taiwan’s Minister for the Environment, Mr Chi-Ming Peng, along with several senior officials from the Taiwanese government and the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, were warmly welcomed at BOKU by the Rector, Prof. Schulev-Steindl, as well as Prof. Zollitsch, Dr Greimel and Dr Calderón-Peter. The visit served as an opportunity to share BOKU’s experiences and achievements in the areas of climate change, sustainability, the bioeconomy, the transition to net zero and social resilience – all topics of significance to Taiwan’s strategy for a sustainable future.
