Best Poster Award to Dr. F. Anna Lehrhofer at EPNOE 2025

At the 9th EPNOE International Polysaccharide Conference (August 25–28, 2025, Sweden), Dr. Anna F. Lehrhofer received the Best Poster Award for her research.

At the 9th EPNOE International Polysaccharide Conference, held from August 25–28, 2025 in Sundsvall, Sweden, Dr. Anna F. Lehrhofer was honored with the Best Poster Award for her project “Covalent anchoring of a cellulose per(phenyl carbamate) chiral selector onto silica gel through alkyne-azide click chemistry and its utilization in HPLC”. The research was conducted within the NFB Chirality project under the leadership of Hubert Hettegger and developed as a PhD thesis supervised by Hubert Hettegger and Thomas Rosenau. Close collaboration with IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences (Anna Malyshenko and David Schachamayr) and the University of Milano-Bicocca (Simona Petroni and Laura Cipolla) as well as the UCT Prague (Michal Kohout) was key to the success. The awarded work opens new perspectives for developing chiral selectors for HPLC separation and highlights the importance of international cooperation in polysaccharide and chirality research.
