Selection of reputable OA journals for article submission and knowledge of OA funding options

Content:

Open Access basics: 

Types of OA journals (Hybrid, Gold, Diamond) 
Open Access resources (e.g., DOAJ, Open Policy Finder) 
Creative Commons licenses

Open Access publishing at BOKU: 

FWF OA Block Grant 
Publishing agreements/transformative agreements
How to find out which journals are eligible for OA funding via the University Library and how to make sure to comply with funder mandates

Methods:

Presentation; demonstration and discussion of examples; Q&A 

Group size: max. 15 participants

The workshop will take place online via ZOOM.
