The revised final version of the "Guidelines for Sustainable Bicycle Tourism" is available as an open access publication.
In April 2019, a first, preliminary version of the "Guidelines for Sustainable Bicycle Tourism" was published. This version subsequently served as a basis for the development of eco-tourism strategies in the partner regions of Eastern Bavaria, Košice, Ruse, Subotica and Tulcea. The experiences gained in the process were collected by the project partner BOKU-ITS and incorporated into the final version now available. The "Guidelines for Sustainable Bicycle Tourism" were published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. In order to guarantee long-term public availability, the publication was uploaded to the Zenodo repository and is available under the following link:
