Survey
Graduates are given access to the questionnaire with the PIN code sent to them. The survey is voluntary, can be interrupted at any time and continued after entering the PIN code.
In order to avoid unnecessary data entry, BOKU has sent a list of all graduates in the examination year to the Institute for Applied Statistics. This list contains the examination date (month/year) and the fields of study as well as a few other demographic information, but no names, addresses or matriculation numbers. The information on degree type and subjects of the completed degree program is automatically entered into the survey via the access code.
By entering the access code, you agree to the procedure described there as well as here and to the transmission of the survey results to BOKU for the purpose of program development and quality management.
Your survey data will not be linked to your personal data at any time. The survey is therefore completely anonymous from the point of view of both ISTAT and BOKU.
Nevertheless, it is possible to have entered data corrected and / or deleted. You can find out how here. There you will also find how you can make use of your right of appeal according to Article 77 (DS-GVO).
Raffle
At the end of the questionnaire you will be invited to participate in a raffle offered by BOKU. They can also claim the report of the results. In order to be able to inform the winners about their prize after the draw and to send them the prize or the report, the names and e-mail addresses of the persons who want to participate in the prize draw or who want to receive the results report are collected. These data are collected separately from the questionnaire data on a BOKU server and then stored. They are not linked to the survey data.
You will receive detailed information about the processing of these personal data at the beginning of the competition questionnaire.
Dealing with the results of the survey
There is a contractual agreement between ISTAT and the universities on how to handle the survey results of the graduate surveys. This data protection agreement can be found here.
