The BOKU Centre of Agricultural Sciences (BOKU CAS) is a scientific initiative, which has been added to the organisatory structure of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna in the year 2010. The Centre functions as an umbrella organisation, bringing together and connectiong BOKUs departments, institutes, working groups and research sites involved in agricultural research and teaching.

The BOKU Centre of Agriculture Sciences has the distinctive function of presenting BOKUs agricultural sciences to stakeholders and society, as well as to the scientific world. The Centre supports and fosters developments in agricultural sciences. The Centre commits to the principle of plurality of views.
