The library card is valid at the main library and for all special libraries of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences equipped with the PC-based lending system.

If the library card is lost, please inform the library immediately, your account will be locked to prevent abusive usage of your library card.

How to get your library card

BOKU students

The BOKUcard serves as the library card and is valid automatically.

BOKU Staff

The library account has to be activated by the IT manager of the respective institution. After that it is possible to collect the library card at the main library, it is also possible to ude the BOKUcard for employees (please bring an picture ID).

Other users

Fill out the application form and bring along a photo identification and the residence registration form ("Meldezettel"). Application form for users pdf-format

Please read the information available on the application form and inform the library if your personal data changes (e.g. home address).

Persons below the age of 18 additionally need a declaration of consent and liability signed by a parent or their legal guardian.
