Dust, dirt and vertical storage have left their mark. Therefore the most urgent action needed is the conservation of the holdings. The securing of the holdings began in fall 2008. Any metal or plastic is removed; the files are cleaned of surface dirt and placed in acid-free archival boxes. Many of the fascicles are in disorder, so the library is striving to get them back in order with the help of the protocol register.

Other projects include further indexing of the holdings; a long term goal is to digitise the holdings.
