A regular text element consists of an optional header, where you could enter an overtype, and an editable text field. The element is available in five different layouts selectable in the "appearance" tab:

  1. Default
  2. weißer Teaser
  3. Corner Box
  4. Hinweis, nicht druckbar
  5. FAQ

The different layouts look like:

regular text element – header "heading 2 - H2" and layout "default"

  • you can set the appearance for the heading of the element in the backend, field "type"
  • in this example, the type is set to "heading 2 - H2"
  • the layout "default" is the standard layout without special highlighting

regular text element – header "heading 2 - H2" and layout "white teaser"

  • the type is set to "heading 2 - H2" here
  • the "white teaser" layout highlights the element as a whole
  • the heading of the element is slightly indented because of the design for "heading 2 - H2"

regular text element – header "heading 3 - H3" and layout "white teaser"

  • in this example, the type is set to "heading 3 - H3"
  • the layout "white teaser" highlights the element as a whole
  • the heading of the element is not indented but flush

regular text element – header "heading 2 - H2" and layout "corner box"

  • in this example, the type is set to "heading 2 - H2"
  • with the layout "corner box", the text field is highlighted in white, the bottom right corner is cut
  • the heading of the element is not indented

use case:

  • short texts, notes, text-picture notes
  • notes with bullets: ideally, there should be no further text after the bullet points
  • is well suited within a grid element, e.g. smaller right-hand column for notes

regular text element – header "heading 2 - H2" and layout "note, not printable" (Hinweis, nicht druckbar)

  • this element and the text entered in it are not read out during a print command
  • different headings could also be set for this element in the Type field in the backend
