You can set up email forwarding to a personal address as follows:
BOKUonline → Email addresses → Externe Weiterleitung (external forwarding)

This forwarding will remain active even if your account is no longer available.

Once your account expires, an automated confirmation process for renewing external forwarding takes effect. You can decide each year whether you still need the forwarding or not. You will receive three reminder emails; to renew, simply click on the corresponding link in the reminder email. If no confirmation is received after three reminders, the forwarding will be automatically deactivated.

I have several email aliases. Which ones are forwarded?

All addresses (aliases) in the “Email addresses (incoming)” field will be forwarded.

Will my internal GroupWise address also be forwarded?

No, your internal GroupWise address CANNOT be forwarded this way.

Only the addresses in the “Email addresses (incoming)” field can be forwarded.

I've shared GroupWise folders with my coworkers. Is there anything else I need to do?

Shared folders, including emails, will be deleted after 6 months!

It is therefore very important to transfer ownership of these folders to another account while you still have access to your account; otherwise, these emails will be irretrievably lost.

I accidentally deleted a forwarded email. Can I have that email forwarded to me again?

No, emails are only forwarded; they are not saved. Therefore, emails cannot be forwarded again.
