Wood Technology and Management

2 pm – 3 pm

The German-language Master's programme in Wood Technology and Management provides in-depth training in the sustainable use and processing of wood. It focuses on innovative technologies, materials science, and the development of wood products. Combining engineering, natural sciences and economic approaches, the programme optimises the life cycle of wood products, from raw material extraction to recycling. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in research, development, production and management.

The lecture will be held in German.

Material and Energetic Exploitation of Renewable Raw Materials (NAWARO) & Biomass Technology

3 pm – 4 pm

The German language master’s programme in Material and Energetic Exploitation of Renewable Raw Materials (NAWARO) as well as the international, German-language Master’s programme in Biomass Technology offers students the scientific, technical and economic qualification for the material and energetic exploitation of renewable raw materials from agriculture and forestry. Graduates of this Master's programme are able to work with complex problems in the field of material and energetic use of renewable raw materials. Their competences here range from the production and extraction of raw materials through to their end use. The international Master's programme Biomass Technology is a joint degree programme conducted in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

The lecture will be held in German.

Green Building Engineering

4 pm – 5 pm

With the English-language Master’s Programme Green Building Engineering you can become the engineer of tomorrow, capable of designing new sustainable buildings and develop existing buildings to green buildings. With the circular economy approach, the whole life cycle is considered: from the used materials, the energy concepts and spatial planning up to the point of demolition.
