SOILATHON

SOILATHON

12:00 ‐ 19:00

  • Workshop

A SOILATHON is a short, high-energy co-creation event to explore business opportunities for soil applications. This event is the first step in a validation process launched by the “SOIL INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP”.

Biochar can store carbon in soils for centuries, improve water retention, reduce nutrient losses, and contribute to soil health. Despite its potential, adoption by farmers remains limited. Effective communication, advisory concepts, and practical implementation strategies are needed to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and everyday farming practice.
