This program offers participants the opportunity to attend lectures entirely taught in English, given by professors and researchers and visit various laboratories within the University of Montpellier. The courses are complemented by social and cultural events, as well as field trips.

The University of Montpellier is at the forefront of research documenting the impact of global climate change on ecosystem functioning, unveiling rapid and unpredictable environmental changes. This selective, interdisciplinary BIP is open to third year Bachelor, Master and PhD students, with an undergraduate/Master degree in ecology/evolution, geography, and related disciplines.

• Ethics and Sustainability of Artificial Intelligence (undergraduate)
• Sustainable Success in the Global Marketplace (undergraduate/graduate)

  Students choose one course, which is then combined with classes on German language, Intercultural Competence, Facts about Germany, and Osnabrück, as well as city trips, company visits, and cultural activities. Students meet participants from a variety of countries and study in an intercultural environment. The subjects are taught by academics from Osnabrück and its international partner universities with plenty of professional experience.

Upon successful participation, students receive a certificate of attendance and 5 ECTS credit points. The program is taught in English. 

Registration: until 28 February 2026. The course fee is 1,950 Euro.

The 3rd UPorto Research Summer School in Microbial Communities – “Taste of PhD Experience (UPhDExperience 2026)”, taking place from 6 to 23 July 2026 at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal is organized under the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme initiative of the EUGLOH Alliance, which promotes student mobility, international collaboration, and innovative training across European universities.

International senior undergraduate students or master's students from any scientific background (e.g., biology, biochemistry, medical science, engineering, and physics) who are motivated and interested in microbiology, biotechnology, and other related areas are welcome to join.

This hands-on programme offers students an immersive experience in the life of a PhD student and a unique opportunity to:

• Participate in keynote lectures and guided tours of U.Porto research laboratories
• Take part in internships in research labs, shadowing PhD students
• Engage in interactive workshops and round tables
• Work with international researchers from UiT The Arctic University of Norway and Université Paris-Saclay
• Develop  scientific, technical, and transferable skills (critical thinking, autonomy, problem-solving, teamwork, and oral/scientific communication)
• Become familiar with cutting-edge technologies for studying “Microbial Communities”
• Build academic networks to support future collaborations and career opportunities
• Earn 3 ECTS
• Duration: 3 weeks

The Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) Geography of Food research group, the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL), and the Interuniversity Research Centre for Atlantic Cultural Landscapes (CISPAC) organize a Summer School on Agrobiodiversity from September 2nd to 12th, 2026, in Galicia (Spain). 

Applications are now open until 28 February 2026.

The Summer School is mainly directed at students enrolled in a Master's program related to agricultural science, environment, food technologies and processing, rural development, sustainability assessment, or associated topics. Bachelor students are also invited to apply, but will be given second priority. Students can find here all relevant information.

Applications for students are now open and close on 15 October 2025.

The GBS will take place again next summer from 13 July to 1 August 2026 at BOKU University and TU Vienna. Applications will be accepted again from January 2026.

As in previous years, BOKU University has a partial scholarship available for the GBS. This allows highly qualified students to participate at a reduced fee. Students can apply for this until 30 April 2026.

Antwerp Summer and Winter University offers intensive, short-term academic programmes during the summer and winter months within the areas of excellence of the University of Antwerp and its partners.

Summer and winter school topics cover almost all disciplines offered at the University of Antwerp, ranging from health sciences over design sciences to social sciences. Target groups are different for each programme and include students, researchers and/or professionals. All short-term programmes consist of high-quality education (lectures, visits, workshops) and fun & interesting social programmes. Participants can acquire ECTS credits upon successful completion of the programmes. All certificates of completion are issued as a micro-credential.

Further information 

This February, students can dive into seven programmes on diverse topics, including Electrocatalysis, Global Food Law and Policy, European Solidarity, Feminism and Motherhood, International Design, Pharma Logistics, and Crisis Governance. Each programme is designed to challenge students, expand their expertise and connect them with an international community of students, researchers and professionals.

Looking ahead to Summer 2026, interested students can already look forward to five inspiring summer schools: Children's Literature, Responsible Fashion Management, Vaccinology, Film History, and Arts & Media Archaeology.
