KinderBOKU is organizing autumn holidays for school children of BOKU members (born in 2015 or later) for the four days of school holidays in Vienna this year, from October 27th to October 30th, 2026.

The autumn holidays take place from tuesday to friday from 8am to 4:30pm at Türkenschanze in Gregor-Mendelhaus.

The costs amount to 28€ per child and day (including lunch) and will be invoiced afterwards.

The children will be supervised by the "Flying Nannies" of the Children's Office of the University of Vienna (supervision ratio 5:1), who will provide a varied program of fun and games, and will respond to the interests of the children.

Binding online registration will take place exclusively online from September 8th, 2026 (1pm) until September 25th, 2026 (1pm) for BOKU employees and BOKU students:

There is NO FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED POLICY.
We strive to make registration for the autumn holidays fair. If the demand exceeds the available places like last year, we will try to enable as many children as possible to take part in the autumn holidays and, if necessary, reduce the number of days per child.

Please complete a separate online form for each child and confirm the required data protection information and the cancellation policy at the end of the form.

The registration is binding as soon as you have sent the form.
After checking the data you have put in and submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This will contain a summary of your details as well as information on the autumn holidays and the cancellation policy attached. You can no longer change the data you have entered.

Places will be allocated after the registration deadline (September 25th, 2026). You will be informed about this separately until September 30th, 2026.

The following applies:

  • binding registration (cancellations see below) by September 25th, 2026
  • single day registration ist possible
  • school children born in 2015 or later can be registered

Please note our cancellation policy, to which you must give your consent at the end of the online form.

Cancellation policy:
Less than 14 days before the start of the autumn holidays (October 27th, 2026): 100% of the costs
Cancellation of a booking is only possible and valid in writing by e-mail to kinderboku_herbstferien@boku.ac.at.
