Historic Garden Conservation in theory, planning, practice, and management with an emphasis on baroque gardens and gardens of the 19th and 20th Century. Preservation, revitalization and development of historic gardens in and for the 21st Century; scientific and legal frameworks as well as planning materials (park maintenance programs, expert opinions for the designation of historic gardens; conservation; nature and landscape protection; UNESCO – world cultural heritage sites)

Knowledge of European and international garden history, in particular European garden history from the Renaissance – 20th Century.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
To convey knowledge of strategies for historic garden preservation, develop a line of questioning, and cultivate skills to address the themes and possible courses of action.
